Parading a Tradition - Color Guard Legacy at NHB

By Douglas H Stutz, NHB/NMRTC Bremerton public affairs officer -- When two iconic steel I-beams from the World Trade Center attack on September 11, 2001, were transported to Kitsap County to become the focal point for a 9/11 memorial, a color guard was needed to help with the symbolic and solemn flag folding portion of the arrival ceremony in 2010.
