NMRTU Bremerton Pharmacy Process
- Activating your prescription from an Outside Provider
- Hard Copy/Paper Prescriptions: It is highly recommended to have your provider send electronic prescriptions whenever possible as this will allow you to pre-activate your prescription, greatly reducing your pharmacy wait time. Please ensure that the provider physically signs all paper prescriptions, as an electronic signature is not valid.
- NHB Pharmacy: Come to the lobby and select “Activate Prescription” on the kiosk, select I NEED to speak to a Staff Member, and then wait to be called to a window.
- NMRTU Everett Pharmacy: Active Duty and their dependents come to the Pharmacy and speak to the attendant at the window.
- NMRTU Bangor Pharmacy: Active Duty and their dependents come to the Pharmacy and select “New Prescription” on the kiosk and then wait to be called to a window.
- Electronic Prescriptions from Outside Providers (eRx): Outside providers can send electronic prescriptions directly to the pharmacy for all prescriptions, including controlled substances, saving you valuable time, because you can activate them from home rather than having to drop them off at the pharmacy. To send in prescriptions your provider will need the following information:
- NHB/NMRTU Bangor Pharmacy:
- Pharmacy Name: DoD Bremerton Pharmacy
- Address: 1 Boone Rd, Bremerton, WA 98312
- Fax: 360-475-4786
- Pharmacy NCPDP/NPI Number: 4925496/1811096852
- Everett Pharmacy:
- Pharmacy Name: DoD Everette Pharmacy
- Address: 2000 W. Marine View Drive Building 2010 Everette, Washington 98207
- Pharmacy NPI: 1952408718

Helpful medication tips
- Need a Prior Authorization Form or want to know if a prescription is covered? Use the TRICARE Formulary Search Tool to get updated information and costs for retail or Home Delivery.
- If your provider tells you to take your medication differently than what is on the bottle request a new prescription.
- Know the name(s) and dosage(s) of your medication as well as why you are taking them
- Be familiar with your medications: look for changes in color, size, shape, markings, and smell. If you notice something unusual contact the pharmacy
- Do not mix medications unless instructed by your physician. Inform your physician of all medications you take, including over-the-counter medications, herbal medications, and dietary supplements
- If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, check with your physician and/or pharmacist before taking any medication
- Do not mix different medications in the same container. Keep medications in childproof containers and out of reach of children
- When traveling or PCS’ing, carry your medication with you, not in your luggage. Be sure to take enough medication to last through your trip including a little extra in case of unexpected delays
- Do you have medications that are expired, or you no longer use? Return them to the Hospital Pharmacy’s blue medication return bin 24/7 for proper disposal. Injectables are not returnable.
